Free rides to an epic summer!

Bus

TriMet free Summer Pass for students ages 14-19.

TriMet is removing transportation barriers for students with the TriMet Summer Pass, a simple
but powerful way to keep young people connected, independent, and engaged all season long.
This free transit pass empowers students throughout the Portland metro area with greater
access to reliable transportation, helping them get where they need—and want—to go without
hassle.

Running from June 1 – August 31.

Automatically loaded to you PPS student ID.

The TriMet Summer Pass is valid on all buses, streetcars, and trains across the network,
making it easier than ever for students to explore their communities. Whether it’s commuting to a
summer job, attending enrichment programs, volunteering, or simply meeting up with friends,
the pass removes the stress of coordinating rides and reduces the burden often placed on
parents and caregivers.

Available to all eligible students regardless of financial resources.

The Summer Pass is available to all eligible students, ensuring equitable access to
opportunities across the region.

It’s a pass to access all things summer.

While savings are significant, the value of the Summer Pass goes far beyond cost by opening
the door to discovery, independence, and new experiences. Students can easily reach rivers,
parks, museums, swimming pools, sports fields, courts, local markets, libraries, and cultural
events happening throughout the metro area.

Getting started is simple.
