MLC Elective Program

MLC's Electives Program Overview:

MLC's Electives are hands-on, activity-focused classes that introduce students in the first through fifth grades to new topics, information, and learning experiences while at the same time giving caring adults and older students the chance to share their talents, passions and interests. If you sign up to teach an elective, you decide what you would like to offer and then work with Susan, the Electives Coordinator, to plan and gather resources and materials used in the electives classes. 

There are many supplies and materials available to use in electives classes. If we don't have the materials you need for your electives class, there is a small budget available for supply purchases.

PPS Volunteer Requirements:

1) Current PPS Background Check already verified and recorded with the District
2) Covid-19 vaccination verification (photo copied and on file at MLC)
3) Government issued ID (photo copied and on file at MLC)
3) Visit the PPS Volunteer website: https://www.pps.net/volunteer
a) Read and agree to the Volunteer Code of Conduct
b) Review the Mandatory Volunteer Training (video)
